Four Pairs.. One Problem 7

--- Kelly's POV ----
Duke had just whispered in my ear that later on in the night that the two of us could slip away from everyone else
(K for you Duke fans that are thinking that this is going to fast… well I apologise for you see I had created this story at the request of my two best friends Caitie and Kelly and I was told by them who their fave characters were and… well this is one of the requirements that Kelly had to have so that she would be happy with what I wrote… hehe sorry Kelly… don't hurt me!!!!)
I couldn't wait until then and was looking forward to it
I was now dancing with Zoe on the dance floor. None of the guys wanted to come out, Zoe had looked disappointed but still Atem didn't budge. I tried to get Duke too but he didn't want to either so it was just Zoe and I on the dance floor. I was having one yell of a time and I was surprised to see that even Zoe wasn't even caring what other people thought. I stopped dancing and stared at Zoe. She soon stopped and waved a hand in front of her face
'Kelly… Kelly are you in there?' Zoe asked with a smile on her face
I shook my head and looked at the smiling Zoe
'I never thought that I would see you dancing so freely considering what you are wearing and the fuse that you were making before' I said as Zoe started to make me dance again
Zoe just laughed at my comment as she made me spin around
'Well you should also know that eventually I just don't give a dam' Zoe pointed out
I smiled at my best friend. She was right when all logic went out the window she was just like a little kid. Not caring what others thought. It was amazing and it pissed me off how she could do that
'Zoe how do you do that?' I asked as Zoe let go of my hands
'Do what?' Zoe asked as she closed her eyes and went with the flow of the music
'Do stuff and not care what anyone thinks?' I asked
'Oh I do care…. It's just later when I have come back to my senses that I regret things… Grey dress for example' Zoe explained as she opened her eyes and looked at me
I smirked when I remembered Zoe's reaction to that… it had been priceless. And I had never let her live it down.
After about one hour of dancing the two of us become exhausted. We went and sat down with the guys who had been sitting at a table lollygagging over Zoe and I when we were dancing… well not Yugi but anyway. I glanced over at Zoe to see her smiling brightly with that smile she always has. I giggled and then I felt a light punch in the arm. I looked up at Zoe to see her smirking
'I can guess what Duke said to you' Zoe said knowingly
I just smiled at my friend
'You know me too well'
'Well its hard not to with all of the stuff that you have done.' Zoe pointed out
'Shut up' I said as I now lightly punched Zoe in the arm
She rubbed her arm where I had punched her, but still that smile of hers didn't falter.
'What were the two of you talking about?' Duke asked as we approached
'Nothing… girl stuff' Zoe said cheekily with her smile
Duke raised an eyebrow in curiosity but Zoe didn't budge. Duke gave up with a pout and Zoe laughed.
'Don't worry Duke I think Kelly could turn that frown up-side down' Zoe said with a cheeky smile
Duke smirked as he got the clue in what Zoe had just said. I shook my head in disbelief
'Zoe you really are a child' I said still shaking my head
'Well then you aren't a very good role model' Zoe said childishly
'Who ever said I was a role model?' I asked shocked
'Well aren't people that are older then other people meant to be role models?' Zoe asked as she sat down beside Atem
'No… besides I think that I wouldn't be a very good role model' I said sitting down beside Duke.
But before I hit the chair I was guided down onto Dukes lap. I smiled happily and turned to Duke. He smiled back at me and winked. I turned my attention back to the front when I heard a sigh
'Why don't you two just go…? I can tell what the two of you are thinking and honestly its starting to annoy me… so get it over and done with' Zoe said as she placed her head in her hands
'What are you talking about Zoe?' Atem asked confused as he looked down at Zoe
'They know what I mean and that's the important bit' Zoe said not taking her eyes off of me
Her eyes said 'Go I'll just be here with Atem and Yugi… Just make sure you go to his room and not ours okay'
I smiled at Zoe happily. She smiled back at me with a slight movement of her head, which pointed off into the bedrooms. I turned to Duke and asked him with my eyes
'You want to go now?'
He smiled at me excited and nodded his head. My smile now also filled with excitement as I got off of Duke's lap and took his hand as he lead me away to the bedroom…

(Hehe Kelly sorry but not yet… Caitie will be the first one to get detail coz I feel sorry about her getting kidnapped and then being pretty much ditched… so sorry… Caitie if Kelly kills me I blame you and Bakura!!!!)

---Zoe's POV---
I watched amused as Kelly walked off with Duke. A slight bounce in her step
'What are they going to do?' Yugi asked slightly confused
'Have a guess' I tried
'Well I have a guess that it involves a bedroom that is not ours' Atem said
'Good guess' I said as I sat up straight.
I looked over to the dance floor and heard that an awesome song had just come on. I smiled and stood up. Before I left I turned to the guys
'I'm going to go dancing again so see you later' I said as I waved

--- Atem's POV---
Zoe had just left to go to the dance floor again. Now it was only Yugi and I at the table for after all Kelly and Duke were currently busy and needed privacy. I smiled as I watched Zoe dance. She looked so free and easy; it was hard to believe that she could still be like that after what she was like before.
"Her moods change so easily," I thought amused
'Atem why don't you go and dance with her?' Yugi asked as he watched you watch Zoe
I turned to my friend with an uncertain look
'But what about you?' I asked
Yugi shrugged his shoulders and thought for a moment
'I could call Tea. She is most probably wondering what has happened to us. Oh that reminds me! I have to call Grandpa he must be worried sick about us' Yugi said concerned as he ran off to our room where there was a phone
I smiled and shook my head as Yugi ran off, I looked back over to Zoe to see her dancing by herself. It seemed that she didn't mind and that she was having fun because she had a smile on her face. I looked around the room to see that every guy that wasn't dancing was staring at Zoe and taking in her movements. I got jealous at this and decided to go and dance with Zoe so I got up off the chair and walked over to her. As she heard me approach she stopped dancing and faced me with a beautiful smile. I smiled in return and made a small bow, Zoe giggled but curtsied back then I raised my hand and Zoe took it. I brought her close to me just as a slow song started.
'Why Pharaoh you are being very formal' Zoe pointed out and we started dancing 'or was it the fact that you could see the other guys staring?' Zoe asked as she lightly laughed
'No' I said quietly
I looked into Zoe's eyes and they said 'you are a very bad liar. But I don't care' I smiled. Zoe leaned in close to me and whispered into my ear
'You know you are the second guy I have ever danced with like this… and I like this one better'
I didn't have to look at Zoe's face to know that she was smiling happily
'I am honoured' I whispered back
Zoe laughed
'You should be'
At this she moved back to stand in an upright position. Zoe started to giggle as she saw something behind me
'What?' I asked confused as the song continued and more people were coming onto the dance floor
'Dead man walking' Zoe said giggling
I just blinked a few times but then realised what she was talking about. All of the guys that had been watching Zoe must have been sending me a death glare. But that soon left my mind as Zoe rested her head against my shoulder
'I bet those guys don't even really care for me' Zoe said sadly
'Why do you say that?' I asked looking down at her
But my head shot up again when a blush came across my face; Zoe just started to laugh at my reaction.
'I thought that all guys looked that view?' Zoe asked with her head still on my shoulder
'Well… um… it's just that…' I couldn't figure out an answer for she was right
Zoe just laughed as we continued to dance
'Its okay I've had worse' Zoe said as she looked up at me
I looked down at her confused
'What do you mean?'
'Well I remember a few years ago that a kid came up to me and proposed. I looked at his friend utterly confused but he explained that his friend only like's girls with big boobs' Zoe explained
'What did you do next?'
'Well my dad was standing like right there so nothing could happen' Zoe explained as she yawned
I looked over to see that the time was about 2am; I then looked down at Zoe to see her with her eyes closed resting against me with a content smile on her face.
'Do you want to go to bed?' I asked Zoe gently
She shook her head and cuddled up to me more
'No I want to stay here in your arms' she answered
I smiled kindly down at her. She did seem like that she didn't want me to let her go and that only made me smile more
'Why do you like me?' the question just slipped out of my mouth
I instantly looked down at Zoe to see her reaction, but all she did was smile and snuggle up to me more
'Well that's easy, you're nice, you are always there for you friends, you hate seeing people hurt, your hot. You don't take crap for people and are a very trustworthy person… there are other things to but right now I'm to tired to think' Zoe answered
I just stared at Zoe as we danced, she seemed to know that I was looking for she smiled and opened her eyes to look at me
'What?' she asked innocently
She started to laugh at me when I couldn't think of anything to say, she soon stopped and got out of my embrace and started to lead me up the stairs
'Come on Mr. Sleepy head' she said childishly as she guided me back to our room
'But who said that I was tired?' I asked playing along and even tugged slightly on Zoe's arm
She looked over her shoulder and smiled
'I said you're tired' she said with a cheesy grin
'But I'm not' I pouted playing the part of the 3 year old
'Yes you are' Zoe pouted back
'And where's your proof?' I asked as I gave Zoe's hand another little tug
'Well your acting like a three year old' Zoe pointed out as the bedroom door came into view
'Well you do it too' I tried as I tried to get out of Zoe's grip
Zoe stopped and I bumped into her for I hadn't expected her to stop. I looked over her shoulder to see her thinking with her finger on her chin, soon she pointed to the roof with a face of accomplishment. She turned to me
'Are but you see I always do that… you are the grumpy bum Pharaoh how never smiles' Zoe said letting go of my hand and making as sad face
I lightly glared at Zoe and she yelped childishly and ran to the room.
